Hiring Process/Joining the Team

Can I reapply if I wasn’t selected previously?

Will I meet with company leadership during the hiring process?

Yes, candidates who pass the 1st round interview stage typically meet with leadership and the team manager during the 2nd round interview.

How do I find out the status of my application?

Throughout the hiring process, you’ll receive updates about your application status. What does onboarding look like?/What kind of training or support do new hires receive?

New hires receive structured onboarding, training on our tools and processes, and ongoing support from HR, their manager, and team. You’ll start with 3-5 days of onboarding which goes over the necessary administrative side of being an employee at Long Capture, before diving into the onboarding that is specific to your new role.

How long does the hiring process take?

It varies by role, but we aim for efficiency. Most candidates will typically hear back within 1-2 weeks of each interview stage. From application to offer, the process typically takes 4-6 weeks.

What does the hiring process look like?

Our hiring process is designed to be thorough but respectful of your time. It typically includes:

  • Application Review: We carefully review every application and assess your resume and cover letter to understand your background and fit. We believe in giving each applicant thoughtful consideration, so your application will be reviewed by a real person—never by AI or automated systems.[SF3.1]
  • 1st Round Interview: If your background aligns with the role, you’ll be invited to a one-hour interview with a member of our Human Resources team. This conversation helps us get to know you, your goals, and how you might contribute to our team. We’ll discuss your experience, interests, and alignment with our mission.
  • Skills Assessment or Writing Sample: Depending on the position, you may be asked to complete a short skills assessment or writing assignment. This helps us understand your strengths and how you approach real-world situations.• 2nd Round Interview: If you pass the 1st round interview, you’ll move forward to a one-hour interview with Long Capture leadership and the team manager. This is a deeper dive into alignment, values, and expectations.
